The installation uses very direct words, syntaxes and symbolism to bring the viewer to themselves. The messages remain open and non didactic, it subtly prompt answers, directions and feelings.
‘I am’ in black and ‘I am’ in white appear as bold logo like forms on perpendicular (right angles) walls. I am: Light within light, I am: dark within dark. I am is an obvious statement of existence, but it is a statement which comes into question frequently in my own life.
